Presiding Officer of the African Union ECOSOCC CouncilMr. Chilengi has a track record of credible civil society activism of long standing that puts him at ease with his foundations in the grassroots, familiarity with ECOSOCC operations as he was a prominent member of the 1st ECOSOCC General Assembly which he served as the Chairperson of the influential Political Affairs Cluster and deep knowledge of the African Union, governments and international organizations to which he was previously attached at various times in his working career.

Esther Stanford-Xosei is an internationally acclaimed Reparationist, Jurisconsult, dynamic community advocate and radio Broadcaster. An experienced scholar-activist, grounded thinker and eloquent spokeswoman, she is considered to be a path-breaker, who has charted new grounds in the theory and practice of reparations. Raised up for such a time as this, Esther is recognised for making a significant and tangible contribution to the Global Pan-African Reparations Movement.

Baba Amani Olubanjo Buntu hails from Anguilla in the Eastern Caribbean, grew up in Norway and has lived in South Afrika since 2000. He is an activist scholar, consultant, educator, writer and mentor with more than 25 years of experience in youth- and community work. His academic background is in social work, group therapy and political science. He holds a Master Degree in Philosophy of Education from UNISA and is currently a PhD Candidate in the same discipline.

Dr. Barryl Biekman Tiye International

Chair, National Platform Ducth Slavery Past

A politician, lobbyist, networker and broker affiliated with the DDPA & Decade Coordination Monitoring & Working Group EU/NL. She is an activist for almost 50 years in the Pan African and Women’s Movement. Dr. Biekman is the Founder of the African European Women’s Movement ‘Sophiedela.  Her leadership placed the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade in Captive Africans on the National agenda of the Dutch Parliament in 1998. In September 2015 Biekman was official appointed by the Presiding Officer of the African Union ECOSOC Council as African Diaspora Delegate to Europe.

Manbo Dòwòti Désir

Chairperson, NGO Committee for the Elimination of Racism, Afrophobia & Colorism

A curator, eduator and priest of Haitian Vodou with the title of Manbo Asogwe (High Priest), Désir has served as a delegate to the WSSD and to the various DDPA conferences since 2001.  The Founder of the AfroAtlantic Theologies & Treaties Institute, is the authour of, Goud kase goud: Conjuring Memory in Spaces of the AfroAtlantic.  Désir is the Gwètòdé-de-Outre Mer (Overseas Ambassador) of the National Conferderation of Vodou Practitioners in Haïti (KNVA); serves on the Advisory Board of N'COBRA, and an NGO Representative of the Drammeh Institute.

The 2009 recipient of the, Human Rights Award, from the Council for Justice, Equality and Peace, is the authour of several reports and articles on human rights, humanitairan law, racism and discrimintion. She has worked at the National Assembly in France, UNESCO and the University of Paris.

A Professor in the Department of Pan African Studies, California State University; N'COBRA Lifetime Member; Founder, Sixth Region Diaspora Caucus (SRDC) and Pan African Diaspora Union (PADU) is the Authour of, Meeting Maat: A Handbook for Goal-Oriented Meetings and Gatherings; Straight to the Point: Primer for a Logical Introduction to Critical Thinking. In 2011 Horne was awarded Winner of the Best Political Column by the National Black Newspaper Publishers' Association  

Dr. Line Hilgros

President, Mouvement International pou les Reparations/MIR - Guadeloupe

The International Representative of the 6th Region of the African Union for the French colonies of the Caribbean. An attorney and Pan Africanist who has served as a delegate to the Durban Review, CARICOM, and other important gathering of the African Diapsora, she is the chair of the first reparations organization in Guadeloupe.  Dr. Hilgros a.k.a., Makeda Kandake, who is a member of SRDC/PADU and CPAN, is currently involved in commemorating a recently recovered cemetery of enslaved Africans on the island.
